Blake Thomas is VP of Publicity and takes us through the difficult decisions the Jaycees went through in planning this year’s event: no live music, no children’s hands-on exhibits, no public weigh-ins. But interest hasn’t waned for the fishermen who are eager to get out of their homes and join in some friendly fishing competition. The tournament will be reminiscent of its origins eighty-seven years ago.
